Navy Referees get new sponsor

Kicking off the new relationship before the RN senior match against Middx FA in Portsmouth, Chairman of the RNFA - Captain Steve Dainton, plus Chairman of the Referees Committee – Commander Dave Gordon, met Paul Tarsey, Managing Director and Simon Dalziel, Franchise Director of Bluebird Care.

The sponsorship deal runs throughout 2012 and provides the RNFA with financial support which will aid in the funding of new match officials training kit.

Speaking of the new relationship, Simon Dalziel, Franchise Director at Bluebird Care Franchises said, ‘We are delighted to sponsor the Royal Navy’s football referees. Bluebird Care recognises that sport has an important role to play for many people, particularly our Armed Forces and we are pleased to show our support for Royal Navy football in this way.’

Summing up on the new relationship, Captain Steve Dainton, Royal Navy Chairman RNFA, said, ‘I am delighted that we have entered into a relationship with Bluebird Care Franchises. Their support in helping to develop our vision in producing referee’s to officiate both service and civilian matches, will be invaluable’.
