Coaching In The Royal Navy

Inspire The Next Generation

Ask any footballer who they rank as the most important influence on their career and almost all would make a reference to a coach, past or present. Many would not be where they are today without the help, influence and guidance o one or more coaches.

The FA, through it extensive training program for coaches, has always had a priority to improve the technical quality of coaching which would, in turn, reap rewards on pitches up and down the country.

So if you ever fancied yourself as a football coach, and think you could develop and motivate players, why not become an FA Qualified Football Coach?

Coaching Support

Supporting you every step of the way. Royal Navy FA is here to help you on every stage of your coaching journey. The need to provide support to those people coaching players at all levels of our national game has long been recognised by the FA as key to the development of the game in this country. Here at Royal Navy FA we work hard to support all coaches in grassroots football to have a great experience – regardless of gender, sexuality, ethnicity, ability or disability, faith or age. In this section you'll find information about support initiatives and training opportunities to help you improve as a coach, be safe in your coaching and the environments you create, and access on-the-ground support when you need it.
