The Inter Regional Competition is the new title to the previous Inter Command event that is held on an annual basis within the Royal Navy. The Inter Regional Cup was presented to the RNFA by Major JE Pink, Mayor of Portsmouth 1903-04. The competition is competed for annually between Northern, Eastern and Western Regions and Naval Air Command, Royal Marines and RNU23 Representative Sides. All players are serving under the Naval Discipline Act, or are borne in a Royal Marine establishment.
