Appointment of Chair - UKAFF

UK Armed Forces Football is looking for Chair to lead the development and delivery of football at the highest level across UK Defence. The position plays a fundamental role in the development and delivery of UKAFF Men’s and Women’s Football and key responsibilities and TORs for the position are attached. The aim is to select a new Chair by 1 Mar 22.

Eligibility. The position requires strong leadership as well as administrative, communication and inter personal skills and the incumbent should have a thorough understanding of sport administration at either single Service or UKAFF level.

Applications. Applications should include a CV (of no more than 2 pages) setting out the individual’s experience and including relevant qualifications and positions. All CVs will treated as OFFICIAL-SENSITIVE-PERSONAL in accordance with Defence policy and guidance, and the Data Protection Act. All correspondence relating to the application process will be destroyed appropriately after the process has been completed and the final selection made. Sift and Short List.  If required, CVs will be used to down-select to a short-list who will be called forward for interview at a date to be advised.  

Interview.  Interviews are likely to be held in early Feb 22. Interviews will be held either face-to-face (most likely at RAF High Wycombe) or via Skype/Teams, if appropriate.
